N2 - This study aims to explore how employees’ green behavior (EGB) is affected by green inclusive leadership (GIL). It also examines green psychological climate (GPC) and green psychological empowerment (GPE) as mediators. A PLS-SEM analysis was conducted on 525 valid replies from full-time employees of five-star hotels and category (A) travel agencies in Egypt using WarpPLS 7.0. The findings indicated that there is a positive relationship between GIL with EGB, GPC, and GPE. In addition, positive relationships between GPC, and GPE with EGB also existed. Findings also reported that GPC and GPE mediate the relationship between GIL and EGB. The study enhances existing research on the impact of GIL on EGB, GPC, and GPE, which is still lacking. The study also enhances the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) by incorporating psychological mechanisms and contextual variables that influence employees’ intentions and behaviors toward sustainable practices. In addition, this study explores the integration of greening, leadership, and psychology in the context of tourism and hospitality in Egyptian hotels and travel agencies, filling gaps in existing literature. Practically, the study provides significant insights for businesses operating in the tourism and hospitality industry.
