Effect of Development of Government Job on the Laws to Discipline Faculty Members in Government Universities: A Comparative Study between Egyptian and Saudi Laws

Abstract

Disciplining faculty members in the workplace is a crucial role, and many universities' management faces difficulties in regulating faculty members' work per the legislation. The faculty's compliance with the law is essential for enhancing pupils' academic achievement. This study aims to determine the impact of some used factors in disciplining faculty members in government universities, namely the most recent legislative development in the "government job" and the country's direction towards implementing modern administration systems from the private sector to develop government jobs. This study is based on primary data acquired from the administration of Saudi Arabian universities. In addition, this study uses the partial least square – structural equation model for data analysis. According to this study's conclusions, to improve faculty members' legal functioning, university administrations must properly apply government-regulated legislation. After theoretical implications, the study has built a novel model as an extra contribution to the literature. Similarly, the practical consequences of this research are significant for implementing the new laws and enhancing the legal compliance of facility employees. The future paths of this research will increase faculty members' understanding of the application of the law.
