Abstract

In this study, the telescoping decomposition method (TDM) which is a new modification of the well-known Adomian decomposition method (ADM) is presented for solving time-delayed Burgers equation. The proposed method yields an iterative algorithm to obtain the numerical and analytical solutions of time-delayed Burgers equation including linear and nonlinear terms. The main merits of the proposed method is to avoid calculating the Adomian polynomials and yields a simple algorithm. In addition, TDM provides approximate solutions in the form of convergent series with easily computable components. Some experiments are employed to illustrate the validity and flexibility of TDM for solving time-delayed Burgers equation.
