Abstract

Sometimes, an adaptive fuzzy controller might not be fast enough. In this case, the system state variables may fall out of the favorable range. This problem can be solved by adding an adaptive gain. However, the adaptive gain cannot be very large. At the same time, increasing the adaptive gain will increase noise sensitivity and causes volatility in the controller output.
