Abstract

The reasoning is the desired capability of the IoT system for visual monitoring applications. The IoT network can be used for various monitoring applications e.g. agriculture field monitoring, railway monitoring, traffic monitoring, etc. In a few of the applications, the visual inspection with the camera is also important for event detection or alert detection. The headquarter either regularly monitors the field using real-time videos or only analyzes the images received after periodic intervals. The inspection of the video frames and images helps the future prediction of the event. The monitoring station at the server end can also generate the alert signal for the specific device. In the present work, the spatiotemporal reasoning method is proposed for the IoT monitoring application for future prediction. An alert feedback signal is generated by the headquarter for the necessary action. The proposed scheme can also be utilized for the auto-driving application in the future.
