Abstract

This research goal is to measure the degree of satisfaction of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University students towards the services and student activities provided to them. These services include registration, student affairs, medical, security, cultural, sports, and cafeteria sendees. In addition to that, the researchers studied the differences in student satisfaction with those services according to gender and branch. The researchers used a questionnaire as a tool of measurement on a suitable sample of male and female students (2575 male and female students) from various colleges and programs of the university branches. The questionnaire consisted of 24 items distributed on 7 categories. Each category represented one of the services. Results showed that there is an average degree of satisfaction with the provided student sendees and activities, and that there are significant differences at a > 0.05 among students’ satisfaction mean scores due to gender and branch variables. In light of the findings, one of the most important recommendations that the researchers provided is for the university to work on meeting students’ needs and expectations. In addition, the university should take students’ satisfaction into account as a component of quality and academic accreditation.
