Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/policies/article-withdrawal). This paper was retracted at the request of the editor-in-chief. The editors no longer have confidence in the data presented in the paper. Following a whistle-blower complaint, an investigation indicated extensive reuse of images in the following papers; all are being retracted. A: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2021.102826. B: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2020.101250. C: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2018.07.013. D: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2019.101003. E: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jobe.2020.101522. In each instance, the same image is reported representing a different material mix design or treatment. Specifically: SEM images shown in Figures 12, 15, 9, 8 and 7 of papers labelled A, B, C, D and E, respectively, are identical despite the papers reporting different materials and treatments. SEM images shown in Figures 17 and 10 in papers B and C, respectively, are identical despite different treatments being reported. XRD results shown in Figures 11 and 13 in papers A and C, respectively, are identical despite different materials being reported. The corresponding author denied the duplication.
