Retraction notice to “Lightweight attention mechanisms for EEG emotion recognition for brain computer interface” (Journal of Neuroscience Methods (2024) 410, (S0165027024001687), (10.1016/j.jneumeth.2024.110223))

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor-in-Chief. The authors have plagiarized a significant part of a paper that had already appeared in Computer Science, Volume 50(6 A) (2023) 220300262–9 10.11896/jsjkx.220300262. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. Re-use of any data should be appropriately cited. As such the retraction is made in accordance with journal policies to uphold publishing standards. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter. The journal and publisher regret that this was not detected during submission and apologize to our readers. The authors acknowledge the overlap and regret any unintentional citation omissions.
