Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy). This article has been retracted at the request of the Editors-in-Chief Following multiple whistle-blower complaints, an investigation revealed extensive reuse of SEM and sample images in a series of papers. In each paper, the same images were reported for different materials. Specifically, Figures 4 and 12 in this paper reportedly show surface images and SEM images, respectively, of high-strength concrete with and without basalt fibres at 300°C and 600°C. The same images are reported for PPE fibre reinforced prepacked aggregate concrete at 200°C and 600°C in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.conbuildmat.2020.120418 (retracted) and for waste fibre-reinforced POFA concrete at 600oC in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jclepro.2016.12.168 (retracted). The same images also appear in https://doi.org/10.1007/s13369-017-2681-1. The corresponding author denies the duplication.
