Retraction Note: Machine learning prediction of higher heating value of biomass (Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, (2023), 13, 5, (3659-3667), 10.1007/s13399-021-01273-8)

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article after an investigation by the Publisher found evidence of manipulation of the peer review process, authorship and citation. Zhengxian Chen, Zuocai Dai, Abdellatif Selmi and Nebojša M. Denić have not responded to correspondence from the Publisher about this retraction. The Publisher has not been able to obtain current email addresses for Kittisak Jermsittiparsert and Zoran Nešić.
