This study's model is based on Affordance Theory and incorporates emerging workplace trends. Primary data were collected through a survey of 249 employees working in Saudi public and private organizations and analyzed using a partial least squares (PLS) model. The results revealed valuable insights. Most notably, technological affordance has a significant positive effect on remote work flexibility. Also, remote work flexibility mediates the relationship between technological affordance and in-role job performance, innovative job performance, employee satisfaction, and organizational productivity. These findings highlight the importance of TA and remote work flexibility to improve work structures, while leveraging digital tools to enhance employee engagement and productivity in a rapidly evolving work environment, to achieve organizational excellence in Saudi Arabia.
