Police job stress: Understanding through review and remedial measures

The police are considered as one of the pillars of the country and state who provides protection to their civilians and their properties, maintaining law and order and thereby referring police as a peacemaker but same time recognized as one of the dangerous and stressful occupation. The current paper aimed to understand the background of job stress and its impact on his/her job performance as the police personnel from the perspectives of different review of the literature. Further, the intention was to explore the consequences of job stress in the light of earlier findings. Also, some mechanisms were offered to lessen the degree of job stress of police on the globe based on various findings and limitations of the study were presented to resume further investigation to reach the pinnacle of success.
