Point and interval estimation for frechet distribution based on progressive first failure censored data

Abstract

In this paper, we obtain the point and interval estimation for Frechetdistribution FD based on progressive first failure PFF censored data using two methods: Maximum likelihood estimation ( MLE) and Bayesian estimation. A comparison of Bayesian estimation under symmetric and asymmetric loss functions are obtained. The highest posterior density (HPD) interval and approximate confidence interval CI was made.
