Abstract

This paper presents an intelligent model parameter identification method using particle swarm optimization. This new technique of parameter identification is applied to a nonlinear system which is the conductivity of a low pressure discharge lamp. Some experimental and simulation results are given to validate the efficiency of the proposed method.
