Abstract

In this paper, a study of the stress-strength reliability model is introduced subject to the exponentiated power generalized Weibull distribution. The maximum likelihood estimator for the stress-strength reliability function is deduced. The asymptotic confidence interval for the stress-strength reliability function is derived. The fuzzy stress-strength reliability function is discussed using the triangular membership function. A Bayesian estimator for the stress-strength reliability function is deduced. A real data application is introduced to show the results for the stress-strength model based on real data and compare the use of exponentiated power generalized Weibull distribution with existing distributions.
