Effect of some atmospheric parameters on radon daughters level in Qena Desert

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

Measurements of 222Rn and 220Rn daughters in Qena desert using NaI(Tl) gamma spectrometer showed that the mean level changed with both atmospheric temperature and humidity. The levels of radon daughters reached their maximum values at relatively lower atmospheric temperature. No obvious effect of relative humidity on the levels was observed. -Authors
