Abstract

In this paper, we looked into the generalized third-order nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE). This model has a wide range of applications, including ultra-short pulses in optical fibers. Different analytical approaches such as the Lie symmetry analysis, new extended generalized Kudryashov method and generalized new Kudryashov method are used to secure the optical solutions. Dark, bright, singular and combo bright-singular soliton solutions are among the optical soliton solutions obtained.
