Abstract

In this paper, a new approach for encryption system based on a block cipher algorithm and a logistic function is proposed. The main goal of the present work is to study the weaknesses of different operating modes in order to propose appropriate modifications. The experimental results show that the proposed modifications can be easily implemented and they do not need high level of consumption or hardware occupation. In addition, the security analysis proved the resistance of the new algorithms to statistical attacks, differential attacks and initial key sensibility.
